    Malta Office

Registered in the Republic of Malta in August 2000, El-Atrash International Company Ltd, registered in Malta as a private limited liability company, acts as the overseas base of our Offices, providing support in communications and consultation to our clients inside and outside Libya.

Established during the period when United Nations sanctions restricted travel and communication with Libya, our office in Malta took over the role played by our Athens office in the collection of marine claims on behalf of Libya Insurance Company, the state insurance provider. It went on to collect outstanding claims for Libya’s two overseas inspection companies, Universal Inspection & Services Ltd., also based in Malta, and Orient International Inspection & Consulting, based in Cyprus and London, as well as the Universal Shipping Company in Tripoli.

Our Malta office has represented UK P & I Associations in connection with cargo claims arising in Libyan ports and acted as consultant in arbitration disputes.

Our overseas office continues to provide services to Libyan and foreign clients ranging from legal representation and consultation to facilitating the purchase or establishment of overseas trading companies or limited liability companies in various jurisdictions as well as overseeing the liquidation of such companies.
